Henna Contemporary Organic Jewellery :
This year, as an Advance Diploma jewellery student, I plan to elaborate on the Hindu tradition of Henna, which is adorned for brides to bring purity and good luck to the marriage.
The jewellery piece will be brought about by precise piercing skills, contrasting it with Contemporary Organic Jewellery, and bringing out techniques of forging, leaf skeleton structures and also experiment with a bit of filigree and enameling. The aim is to achieve prominent outcomes by turning the henna designs into jewellery that can be worn to any functions as this allows me to embrace my Hindu religion with a jewellery piece that has never been made before.
