Contemporary jewellery items were created as a result of Zeenat's concept of opposing her religion's emblem of speaking and writing in Arabic. Her work is so well-organized, and I'm in admiration of how delicately she works with filigree and enamel to create defined shapes that contrast with the overall metal look.
This item caught my attention since it motivates me to move further with the idea of incorporating filigree and enamel into my henna jewellery designs to better define the finer intricate work. The enamel work will aid me in giving my item a more traditional appearance while also allowing the main point to be separated from the overall metal look by the use of color, as Zeenat expertly demonstrated in her elegantly finished piece.
